Description

When you need to unwind after a stressful week or prepare yourself to perform your best, attend our drop-in hours at the Stress Management Resource Center! The SMRC is an individualized clinic designed to help you achieve peak performance and enhanced well-being when you need it most.

The SMRC is a tranquil environment featuring:

  • Consultation with CAPS staff to identify your specific stress management and performance needs.
  • MP3-compatible Egg Chairs, where students can listen to a variety of self-guided relaxation and performance enhancing audio (or bring in your own MP3-player if you’d like!).
  • Biofeedback training, an empirically-supported method of treating stress, anxiety, and chronic pain.
  • Instruction in strategies to modify thinking patterns that increase stress and interfere with performance and relationships.

The SMRC will be open during the following hours of the current quarter. No registration necessary. Just drop in!

April 7th to June 13th (closed May 26th)

Mondays, 2:30 - 4:30 p.m.

Tuesdays, 12:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Thursdays, 1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Fridays, 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
